Today I have decided to put a little more work into this website.  I am going to try and get some links and interesting things to do and see from the home page.  I was reading many story's like ours and it made me feel that I was not alone, that we weren't the only family who has been through this tragedy in our lives.  I want to get together with others who experienced these things also, a group of many, to share our ups and downs.  I started this page so I can let it all out, my husband suggested it to me, for a sorta therapy.  In my case it worked wonders, maybe we can do that for many others.  It may take a few months to get it up and running as well as I would like it to be, but I am very anxious to get going and see how well it will become.   If anyone does have any idea's that they would like to share with us, it would be a pleasure in hearing from you :)

Tommy is doing so well lately, I know sometimes I have this inner voice telling me not to be so confident, but I must express the happiness I feel inside on how well he is doing.  The medications are fine.  He is going to start school on his birthday which he is very excited about.  His appointment is on the 14th of August,  I am very worried that the doctor will say he wants to start taking him off the med's.  Panic will sent in, sleepless nights again, worrying constantly if he is ok when he plays.  That is a rare treatment though, they usually wait for 2 years, in this case I truly hope it will be that long,  after that period of time I am sure we will be more at ease, not so fresh in our minds, to deal with it will be much easier at that time.  I cross my fingers on the outcome of that appointment.

Two days ago, Tommy fell down and came in the house with a big bump below his eye.  Oh gosh,  the questions came blurting out of my mouth,  wondering what happened of course,  the things that were running through my mind were, did he have a seizure and fall?  Did his body go limp again and he just passed out for a second?  He told me he slipped on the ground and fell onto the wagon he was pushing, but I remember when he first fell, he told me he bumped his bum!  The others came in after him and told me this was so, I calmed down right then.  I was kind of happy that it was a slip, it was his doing.  Poor baby has a black eye.  I put ice on it right away, so the swelling went down.  It should go away in another couple of days.

Until Next Time
