ok...So it has been awhile. I am terribly sorry about the gap in between days, but we have been a little busy with getting back on track from all this mayhem that went on in our lives the last year that I just haven't had the time to get back on here. Tommy is doing very well on his medication. He is totally off the Dilantin now. Which I am very happy about. Only one to take twice daily, morning and night. You no what! Sometimes I forget he is sick. He is totally back to his good old self. Just a little more hard to handle though. Before the meds he was a very easy going kid, now he is very easy to set off and extremely irritable. Which we all have grown accustom to. We only have a year and a half to go. Then is when we start taking him off the Frizium, if he does not have another seizure till then, I'm crossing my fingers and sending up big time prayers to the big chief!! He starts school on his birthday this year, August 29th :). He is very excited about it all, I am kind of nervous about the hole situation, which is normal I guess. He will do fine. At least I'm not thinking of him wearing a helmet to class like I was before. Now I am a little more calm about him doing normal things, which I thought would never happen again. I came to realize he is as normal as any 5 year old, he just takes a little medicine to help him stabilize his brain a bit, I hope he is taking this medicine for nothing mind you, but this will be determined in a year and a half. I am not editing this entry at all so if I do have errors in my grammar and such I'm truly sorry I just type it as it is I guess. I do not no if I mentioned the water damage we had in our house, but if I didn't, we had a water heater blow and flooded our house, the insurance is just now doing something about it. It has been a while but at least it will be done. There's another little glitch in our lives that had to happen when all was falling down around us. Things are looking up now. We are getting back on our feet. I smile a lot now at last.
I let him play on the computer now, also the playstation. But I limit it. He is very good with it. When Mama says enough, it is enough and he knows it. I am just happy he understands, and goes with the flow, hats off to my son, he is a strong little guy, and I thank God everyday to have given me such an understanding little boy.
Until Next Time
